Purpose:
The main role is to successfully manage all aspects of the business relationship within a defined existing and to be acquired customer base, to develop and deliver profitable sales growth by selling complex solutions rather than products. Also to proactively research, identify and target profitable new business from new and current customers in line with the agreed business sales strategy.
Main tasks:
- Implement the agreed sales strategy, by developing profitable sales within existing customers and target and win profitable new business, in line with the agreed sales strategy to agreed budgetary targets.
- Support the Sales Director in the generation of the sales targets and budgets.
- Submit sales reporting in the set formats, to the agreed standards and within the set time periods.
- Adhere to all company procedures in respect of customer contracts and agreements pertaining to stock, price, origination and any other identified commercial aspects.
- Provide market analysis (including competitor activity and market trends) as required to support strategic business development.
- Acquire and maintain a thorough knowledge of the geographic sales territory, the key users, and their relevant market sectors to identify and exploit profitable new business opportunities.
- Project management from the introduction of new customers into the business ensuring their effective handover to the internal customer service and technical support teams until delivery of the expected solution to the client.
- Provide accurate short, medium and long term forecasts as necessary to support business planning activities
Main requirements:
- Business or technical university background
- Several years of experience in sales and/or distribution in an international company or service oriented Company in the packaging industry
- Sound knowledge of the Romanian market
- Effective in concluding contracts, with verifiable success
- IT skills (MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Native language Romanian, sound negotiating skills in English, knowledge of German optional

- With high level of initiative and result oriented
- Friendly and consultative approach towards customers and colleagues
- Handles well stressful and deadline situations
- Goal-oriented, dynamic and practically-minded with sales experience
- Convincing communicator and motivator, efficient organizer
- Technical and entrepreneurial understanding as well as high level of social competence
