The client offers mentoring and training for junior engineers. For this position they need a junior level / middle level engineer.
You grow a comprehensive understanding of the market needs and you will participate to the project of creating a new unit / laboratory, including the economic approach (business plans), construction work overview, equipment purchasing, recruitment and training plan coordination, accreditation setup, health, safety and quality management, start of the production.
You are creative / proactive. You coordinate the improvements to optimize industrial performance and flows in order to guarantee the full satisfaction of our customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:
Within our production teams, you develop standard operation procedures to enable their improvement and lower unit cost. You contribute to the capitalization of best practices of our laboratory network in the analytical and continuous improvement areas.
Be the local contact for the IT team and propose specifications in order to optimize production and deploy the Information System.
Analyze and define improvements for the laboratory over the entire process – from samples reception to invoicing.
Build reliable operational and financial indicators.
Pilot improvement projects with the team managers and partners inside of the Group (other laboratories, support teams).
Help the teams with lean methodologies.
LEAN Mindset.
Confident in French, English (optional).
Banchelor’s degree in Engineering (best engineering school) and preferably direct experience in industry (automotive industry, automotive parts).
