RESPONSABILITATI

Tasks and Activities:
• Shifts 7-23 and Oncall outside working hours;
• Maintenance of datacenter infrastructure;
• Monitor server performance and availability;
• Troubleshoot issues for the specific competency;
• Promote and maintain server patch management practices;
• Provide metrics for capacity management purposes;
• Troubleshoot performance issues, troubleshoot OS configuration and hardware failures and apply fixes;
• Event Management (analyze alerts and logs);
• Incident handling; Problem resolution; Root Cause Analysis;
• Initiate, assess, test, verify, document and quality assure system updates;
• Create and implement change requests for incidents/problems as needed;
• Facilitate knowledge sharing by creating and maintaining detailed and comprehensive documentation and diagrams;
• Maintain expert level of knowledge in area of expertise.

We are looking for a Linux Server Administrator willing to work in 7-23 shifts.

Compulsory skills:
• Excellent spoken and written English;
• Experience in complex server configuration and support;
• Experience required: 3 or + years;
• Skills, Knowledge & Experience;
• Unix/Redhat System Administration;
• Experienced with the installation, customization, patch management and production implementation of Red Hat Linux servers;
• Experience with high-availability design;
• Solid experience with shell scripting;
• Experience with RedHat disaster recovery;
• Ability to work effectively, add value as a team member and assume a leadership role for the team;
• Ability to learn from other members of the team; Ability to perform tasks with little supervision.
