Short task description:
Setup and maintenance of Linux based servers, provide support to dev/test teams.
Install and configure various Linux distributions (Red Hat Enterprise, Ubuntu, Debian)
Setup kvm/qemu virtualization and virtual network solutions
Configure DHCP, routing / filtering, NFS, NTP, NIS, SAMBA, SSH, etc
Implement backup solutions
Provide support for various in-house built tools, fix dependency problems, perform basic scripts debugging
Open to learn new technologies (cluster services, java technologies...)
The activity will be performed in a professional environment in close co-operation with experts in Austria.
We are looking for an outstanding applicant who can demonstrate the following qualities:
Professional competencies
Education
Computer science graduates (Automatics and Computers, Informatics or Cybernetics)
Basic Qualifications
Linux server administration
Network administration
Good knowledge of scripting languages (bash, perl)
GNU tool chain QEMU/KVM
Network diagnostic
Preferred qualifications:
One programming language (C, Java)/span>
ClearCase (user)/span>
Cluster services (Pacemaker / Cronosync)/span>
Oracle DBA
Personal competencies
Intercultural communication, including the empathy to work in an international team/span>
