You will maintain and expand our existing Linux server environment
You will help us expand and administer our Linux-HA environments (Keepalived, LVS)
You will administer the implemented Linux server applications (Apache, Postfix, Samba, BIND, DHCP, Dovecot)
As part of the team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the various virtualization environments (KVM, VMware)
You will help our team with monitoring (Nagios) of the various Linux systems and their applications using standard analysis tools (tcpdump)
You will undertake performance analyses and optimizations for the implemented systems
You will document and solve technical problems in the systems to be administered
More than 500 national and international employees will benefit from your expertise in the context of internal user support, in 3rd-level support
Information technology training
Applicable professional experience as a Linux administrator
Very good understanding of Linux / Apache / Postfix / LDAP
Experience in administering servers and network services
Good practical experience in the area of shell scripting
Solid understanding of heterogeneous network infrastructures
Team spirit and customer orientation as well as a structured, independent work style
Independence, target orientation and analytical approaches to solving challenges
Good communication skills in order to inform colleagues and customers about your activities
Basing your own activities on various demands from different contact partners
Very good spoken and written German and English
Other desirable qualifications :
Basic understanding of PHP, MySQL, Perl, Python, GlusterFS
An understanding of software load balancing
Experience with Gentoo Linux
