The main responsibilities of the role will include:
- Managing and lead a team of Logistics Operational Support Analysts
- Personal development of self and team members
- Support the team to execute their daily/ weekly tasks in accordance to the business process
- Facilitate the coordination and management of the order status updates on a regular basis
- Facilitate the coordination of transport management activities associated with the internal movement of product within the client’s organisation
- Identify and coordinate improvements to the business process and enhancements to the reporting toolkits by working collaboratively with the IT Department
- Managing the resolution of escalations from the team relating to process non-conformance
- Attend weekly management meetings to review performance, risks and escalations
Fluency in English with very good English written skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
- At least 4 years of relevant industry experience in a management role
- Previous operations experience managing a team coupled with good management and leadership experience
- An operational customer facing role would be advantageous
- Good understanding of manufacturing and supply chain and related KPIs
- Organised, structured, ability to follow process and is results orientated
- Ability to interact and form strong relationships with other team members
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to lead and develop a team
Technical Skills
- Fully operational with MS Office especially MS Excel and PowerPoint
- SAP experience would be advantageous
- Use of database solutions
- Leadership and Management capability
