You control the product innovation experience from problem definition through solution, and you collaborate across all functions and teams to ensure design intent is delivered to the market.
At Avira you will be put in a position to lead the products through good design and customer focused solutions. Embracing mobile, looking forward to new technologies and realizing the power of security is not only the device but also in our users and their interactions with products.
You will work directly with our VP of product to manage your design team and extend ypur leadership througr our user experience labs, engineering, and collaboration with our online business team. Setting goals, creating visions and walking through and planning complex products from conceptualization to continual releases.
The lead role also looks to new efforts within engineering ideas within the design team, and fosters a collaborative environment with our business unit to create the future of both current Avira products and new Avira products in various stages of release.
- 5+ years creating and designing products that scale
- 2+ years leadership experience of small teams
- Team orientation and integrative approach
- Very good presentation skills
- Persuasive and convincing
- Ability to combine leadership and own operative and strategic tasks
- Degree in Graphic Design, User Experience or related field
- Mix of Design Agency, start-up and corporate background desired
- Expert knowledge and proficiency in all Adobe Suites
- Background that includes data driven design with a balanced approach within design decisions
- Ability to create and test rapid prototypes using programs or products appropriate to your goals
- Ability to lead teams and balance workflow as appropriate within the resources available
- Ability to measure and hold team members accountable to goals
- Ability to break down larger multi-product goals and release into smaller coordinated team efforts
