Marketing Communications Manager EMEA & Marketing Communications Specialist
Location: Bucharest, Romania
We are seeking a highly motivated marketing communications professional to join our Honeywell Transportation Systems Aftermarket business in the EMEA region. Honeywell Transportation System Aftermarket is one of the largest global suppliers of turbochargers and brake pads/products for automotive and other applications under the well-known Garrett, Bendix® and Jurid® brand names.
The candidate will join the aftermarket team in the EMEA region, ensuring that Honeywell is positioned as a friction materials and turbocharger leader while at the same time supporting the activities of our customer base.
As Marketing Communications Manager, you will be responsible for the tactical execution of the marketing communications program in line with business strategy, market goals and organizational objectives.
As Marketing Communications Specialist, you are responsible to implement the marketing strategies and programs given by the manager.
Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
• Developing effective ways to reach our target audiences by reference to the most effective channels
• Devising advertising campaigns that promote the value of Bendix/Jurid & Garrett brands in all EMEA countries
• Developing business critical collateral, including product catalogs, regional leaflets, local newsletters, POS and online materials fully aligned to market needs
• Executing global packaging strategy in collaboration with external designers and internal stakeholders
• Developing training and technical videos in close collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Supporting the customer marketing in the development of marketing campaigns (Europe) and sales materials that help them achieve their revenue targets
• Ensuring maintenance and feeding of the IAM website with content that meets the needs of customers (European region)
• Managing the translation of key materials into European non-English language (European region)
• Managing and monitoring the effectiveness of marketing programs and business partners to ensure best ROI and optimization of marketing budget ( European region)
• Working cooperatively with the Honeywell TS Marketing Communications team on the organization of trade shows and key events (ex. distributor conventions..).
The successful candidate will likely possess the following qualities:
• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism or related field
• Minimum of 5 years(for Marketing Manager)/2 years (for Marketing specialist) experience in communications (ideally in a business to business trade or manufacturing environment)
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English
• Highly organized, with proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Deadline-driven and results-oriented
• Strong knowledge of digital communications including web-based tools, content design and user experience analysis
• Ability to work with all levels of management across diverse business cultures
• Business acumen
