Newstral.com, an upcoming startup in online news-provisioning, is looking for a pro-active, and passionate marketing & PR coordinator who is challenged by the idea of managing, streamlining, and optimizing the different marketing and PR channels for Newstral. You will run the day-to-day marketing & PR as well as
administrative activities and work out detailed marketing & communications proposals for new
marketing & sales campaigns of Newstral. You will work from home with a small start-up team remotely. You will be working with (remotely) highly motivated professionals and are expected to work in a independent and proactive fashion, initially reporting directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities:
• Traffic generation through relationship building, back-linking, and article/comment posting
• Build new campaigns to increase recurring visits and generate new visits
• Write Press Releases and distribute these
• Fill the CRM with relevant contacts and build initial contact with potential partners
• How it Works video creation
• Google Analytics management and optimization
• Strategic Social Media usage
• Building banner campaigns and trades
• Create collateral
• Reporting & Administration
• Administrative tasks
• Networking with the industry media & partners
• Newsletter coordination
Apart, general marketing/ project management, planning, and evaluation responsibilities.
Candidate Profile:
• Passion for marketing & communication and interacting with (prospecting) customers &
relations
• Bachelor degree or higher
• Pro-active and independent worker
• (Near) native spoken & written English & German
• Highly organized with excellent project management skills
• Precise with an eye for detail
• High intrinsic motivation
• Result oriented
Beneficial skills:
• Working experience in the News/Media field
• Work experience in PR agency
• Proficiency in additional languages (Spanish, Dutch, French, Portuguese)
• User skills in desktop publishing applications (Adobe PS, ID, IL)
