On behalf of our client, a leading multinational manufacturer and distributor of pesticides, we are looking for an energetic Agronomical Marketing Specialist to join their team and be the “backbone” of the company’s marketing and product promotion operations.
You will ensure set-up and development of marketing activities locally with the support of and according to HQ guidelines so as to support the company’s high-growth development plans.
SCOPE OF WORK AND ACCOUNTABILITY
• Organize and examine field trials; report results
• Prepare and deliver presentations and advice to farmers and customers
• Coordinate organization of agricultural fairs
• Organize marketing campaigns
• Act as point of contact for agricultural and manage the advertisement plan
• Provide marketing training for the sales managers
• Manage website content, write and distribute newsletters
• Develop potential customers and farmers data base
REQUIREMENTS
• Agricultural university graduate
• 2-3 years’ worth of marketing experience/ on-farm field trials
• Similar position in past (or actual) employment
• Good project management skills
• Understanding of market structures and influencing factors
• Excellent internal and external networking and presentation skills
• Experienced in compiling and presenting data in order to facilitate decision making
• Knowledgeable with computer work
• Fluency in English
