1. Tooling, Automation and software development
He/She should have a strong programming skills to support the existing Ops tools and develop innovative solutions to support the team (automation, service monitoring,configuration compliancy):
Python, Perl, bash, expect
MySQL, InfluxDB, Elastic search,MangoDB
Web API: Rest, Flask, Django, JavaScript
He/She is able to update, manage and use effectively the NMS and capacity planning tools such as Spectrum, Cacti, Observer, Rancid, ACS, Splunk, Nagios, Junos Space, Cisco CSPC
He/She is able to automate the network operation tasks through creation and maintenance of tools
2. Maintain and operate International IP/MPLS Networks
He/She is able to troubleshoot issues in a large scale International IP networks like Aorta/NA4 running routing protocols like OSPF, ISIS, BGP and MPLS applications like L2VPN, L3VPN, 6PE
IOS/JUNOS/IOS-XR image certification and validation using the Corp. Operations LAB
Manage and lead any major technical escalations related to International IP networks in an appropriate way, and plan and decide in due time about any appropriate operational improvement measures that need to be taken

4. General
Provide guidance to tier-1 support engineers
Provide support to LG affiliate Tier-1 and Tier-2 support engineers
Ensure data analysis is done rigorously and saved to ticket logs.
Ensure relevant processes are followed (Problem resolution, Change control and others)
Follow the change and Incident Management process
Project impact assessment and operational readiness
Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science/Electrical Engineering
5 years’ experience in telecoms and/or ISP
Strong Unix/Linux OS experience, Apache
Software development skills are required, specifically in Python with 2+ years of experience. PHP/Perl/Ruby knowledge is a plus
SQL and no-SQL DB experience
JNCIP-SP,CCIP is a preferred. CCIE-SP/JNCIE-SPis a plus.
Good knowledge in the following platforms: MX-Series, PTX-Series, ALU 7750/7950, Cisco7600, Cisco 7200, ASR9K.
Deep knowledge in IP/MPLS Core protocols and technologies
Knowledge of Network Hardware and packet forwarding architecture
Experience in the telecom industry, with systems support, design or implementation related roles
Fluent in spoken and written English
Able to speak at least one foreign language other than English
Experience in multinational and multicultural environment
Able to work within a multicultural team of engineers
Good interpersonal skills, able communicator, highly autonomous, team player
