As a copywriter, you will ignite readers' and customers' interest in Avira, and encourage them to use our services and purchase our products. You will explain complex content using comprehensible, imaginative techniques, and communicate our corporate strategy in a personable, convincing manner.
You will create the messaging concept for marketing campaigns for the German market, and / or localize existing English campaigns. You will write the accompanying copy in German, and make suggestions for imagery to be used.
You will work in close relationship with creative designers and UX designers to provide concepts and flows for marketing campaigns as well as the Avira website.
You will write and convert text specifically for the Internet and email purposes.
You will write mailings and the landing pages linked to these.
You will write and fine-tune text with top search keywords in mind.
You will write informational and marketing material about our products and services.
Several years' experience as marketing copywriter/online copywriter for the German market with good technical understating of IT concepts.
Strong ability to focus communication on specific target groups.
Experience of SEO is required. SEM and SMM are a plus.
Keen ability to see things from the customer's point of view, communicate technical information in a way that customers will understand, work with a focus on the customer at all times, and inspire the customer.
You will have an exceptionally assured style, be able to handle the full spectrum of media in which your copy will be used, and show an understanding of brand strategy and development.
You will have extensive experience of copyediting and will be able to proofread with exceptional precision.
You will have excellent time management and organizational skills, enabling you to complete a number of tasks simultaneously in a fast-moving environment.
You will have a very good command of English.
