Summary
The Online Presence Manager will manage the team responsible for all consumer online promotion and communication activities. This person will develop the integrated online strategy and manage the execution of all consumer online marketing programs including: advertising, SEO/SEM, Affiliates Network, social media, email campaigns and PR. This position will ensure the KPIs are focused on hitting ROI targets tied to building brand awareness and engagement, driving qualified, relevant traffic to convert online and deriving consumer insights and optimization strategies from campaign performance.
This individual will manage the daily execution of the company’s promotional campaigns and will act as a project manager to ensure all promo and non-promo campaigns are deployed successfully via the internal as well as outsourced resources. This individual should track email and website metrics and provide insight on best practices/program enhancements to optimize customer value and campaign results.
Responsibilities:
Strategy
* Understand and monitor the competitive landscape for online & communication activities and strategies, provide insight and recommendations to drive the company business forward as a leader-in-class
* Development and execution of comprehensive, annual online presence strategy. Approach should result in increased website traffic, higher conversion rates and revenues
* Help develop and manage mobile & social media strategy and work with resources to ensure successful implementation.
* Facilitate online marketing roadmap and liaise with stakeholders and share case studies, best practices, industry movements on an ongoing basis
* Collaborate closely with product teams to help define product marketing strategy: websites, mobile, social, email, and in-app features
* Identify, interpret, and capitalize on social media trends
* Attend industry conferences to network and develop industry expertise
Planning, developing & executing
* Manage the allocated internal or external teams to grow the online new customers’ acquisition and retention campaigns through email, mobile, social, display advertising, CPC advertising, search engine optimization, affiliates network
* Ensure all content published to the online channel maintains a high degree of relevance to target audiences & consumer segments, alignment with brand voice and positive commercial outcomes
* Retargeting – devise strategy to leverage retargeting audience segmentation & technology to improve relevance of messaging to consumers
* Suggest promotional campaigns mapped to key consumer buying moments, holidays, promotions and offers. Campaigns must be integrated across all online marketing channels, including acquisition, reactivation campaigns and retargeting campaigns
* Manage the email, mobile and social platform relationship and provide business requirements for current and future-state email triggers and programs
* Oversee marketing calendars, traffic creative assets and own the complete online campaign approval process
* Drive the collaboration within the team as well as with other departments and outsourced resources to ensure all branding, messaging and offers are correctly presented to customers and all email related customer issues are efficiently solved
* Manage the day to day email campaign process including negotiation, creative request, trafficking, approving, scheduling and tracking
* SEO – define & manage the execution of programs to increase relevant organic traffic from search engines & social media
* Affiliates Network - define & manage programs to increase customers acquisition through affiliated partner websites and extend the affiliates network
* CPC advertising - define & manage programs to increase acquisition from paid advertising campaigns as well as optimize the cost per acquisition according to business needs
Research & analysis
* Summarize, report and optimize online campaign delivery & performance metrics on weekly basis for both individual campaigns and in aggregate highlighting successes, trends and opportunities
* Maintain formal process to update and share findings with marketing teams and other stakeholders
* Optimize campaign performance through creative testing, subject line testing and landing page testing and optimization
* Continuously analyze and improve customer satisfaction with emails based on improved knowledge and insight gained from the various web analytics tools as well as email marketing related systems presently in house
* Identify customer behavior pattern online and improve customer lifecycle, customer retention and ongoing loyalty.
Experience:
* 3-5 years of experience with website marketing (SEO, SEM, Affiliates), email marketing, social media marketing and mobile in the B2C environment
* Extensive knowledge and hands on experience of best practices for B2C marketing
* Experience working with web analytics tools
* Analytical thinking and data driven approach; ability to understand marketing data and analysis and develop campaign recommendations and optimizations from these insights
* Strong collaboration skills and a great team player who can work independently
* Experience with SEO/SEM, display/retargeting and ecommerce content production/merchandising for web
* Strong capacity for leading change, dealing with ambiguity and providing creative solutions.
