We are looking for a strong Online Product Manager of Consumer Products to help grow our revenues through expanding product lines, target market, and channel coverage. This position will be responsible for setting, communicating and executing the strategy in order to drive immediate and significant growth.
Summary
The Online Product Manager is responsible for both product planning and product marketing. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, to deliver winning products. It also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Online Product Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Define and manage the product strategy and roadmaps including prioritization and trade-offs among features, user experience and performance
Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
Translate product strategy into detailed requirements
Research consumer websites, competition, industry trends and technological trends
Analyze product metrics and trends to asses product health and improvement opportunities
Know and care more about your product than anyone in the world
Prepare business case analysis and conduct requirements gathering
Utilize market research, competitive analysis and best-in-class benchmarking to help define new products, functions and features
In collaboration with Project Management, create, communicate, maintain and help enforce project timelines
Work closely with the Marketing department to understand and identify product needs
Focus on site optimization and conversion rate by being creative
Be an expert with respect to the competition.
2-3 years of experience in managing consumer web products
Experience in designing and optimizing websites according to users behavior as well as experience involving UI/UX
Must be passionate about the internet with keen understanding of the most recent trends around consumer web usage
Experience working with web analytics tools and BI
Technical aptitude – ability to understand and discuss architectural concepts, schedule trade-offs and new opportunities with technical team members
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, business writing skills required.
Professional and friendly communication skills (written and verbal)
B.A. preferably in Marketing or Business.
English advanced.
