One of the world's leading financial service providers is opening a new centre in Bucharest and is looking for talented and ambitious professionals to build up the team.
As an ORACLE ADMIN your key responsibilities will include:
* Member of the Core Services team supporting all Credit Risk IT software development projects;
* Oversees all aspects of non-production (development, SIT, UAT and pre-production) Oracle databases in a hosted services environment;
* Performance tuning, code reviews and deployments, SQL/PL-SQL support, and data movement;
* Troubleshooting database related problems and escalating issues to the appropriate teams when needed;
* Provides database related support to application development teams;
* Provide guidelines to the development teams on impact of their changes;
* Capacity planning and maintenance of non-production databases infrastructure inventory;
* Participates in process and tools improvement projects;
* Creates and reviews scripts for task automation;
* Creates knowledge base articles;
* Contributes to continuous improvement of build, deploy and release processes;
* Works closely with the Hosted Services teams in day to day activities;
* Works with off-shore vendor resources and development activities;
If you have:
* 3-7 years of relevant work experience as an Oracle specialist / development DBA;
* Good knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and database administration (including performance tuning features and tools);
* Knowledge of Oracle RAC architecture;
* Experience in SQL Tuning;
* Basic knowledge of UNIX shell scripting;
* Experience in providing support for Oracle development teams;
* Adept at collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders;
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written;
