We are looking for a Oracle BI Support Engineer to fill a permanent position on our growing BI and EPM team.
BI Support Engineer will provide support on Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) and Hyperion Planning Application (EPM). He will be responsible for development and design of various BI reports, dashboards, scoreboards, and other solutions to meet business needs.
The candidate should have knowledge of business intelligence fundamentals, building reports, ETL processes, and providing actionable solutions. He will collaborate closely with BI and EPM Team members to understand our infrastructure and ensure data integrity and reliability.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day support to BI and EPM consumers;
• Design reports, analysis, dashboards, Business Forms;
• Monitor BI Servers and ETL Processes;
• Maintain catalog infrastructure;
• Write hands-on guides and train users;
• User request management following approvals and internal SOD rules;
• Managing communication of changes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Experience supporting applications;
• Experience with Catalog, report and dashboard development;
• Knowledge in SQL and Oracle 11g;
• Experience with OBIEE and/or Hyperion Planning is highly desired;
• Experience with OBIA applications is a plus;
• Oracle ERP (E-Business Suite) knowledge is a plus;
• Hyperion/Essbase knowledge is a plus.
