• Participate in the Establishing of the network architecture (High Level Design, Low Level Design) for the packet network in order to implement company strategic development plans;
• Participate at integration and testing of the packet network elements and performs the acceptances with the vendors in order to validate the quality of implementation;
• Performs the VPN connections between Cosmote and other companies pursuant to services department demands as to be compliant with the commercial specifications;
• Participate at the optimization of the packet network in order to maximize the usage of network resources;
• Assure support to Operation & Maintenance in order to be compliant with internal procedures;
• Cooperate with the other departments in the division in order to give support for the projects related to packet network;
• Is responsible maintaining the network KPI’s in the defined parameters in order to assure a good quality of network functionality.
• University degree (diploma in Telecommunication, Electronics, Automation, Electrotechnics)
• Between 6 months - 1 year’ experience in a similar position. Experience in mobile telephony is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of GPRS/EDGE ( 2G, 3G, LTE) technology, services and products
• Basic knowledge of specific packet network protocols and interfaces
• Basic knowledge of communication protocols ( TCP/IP, MPLS, SS7, Diameter)
• Basic knowledge of switching protocols (IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, IS-IS)
• English language – advanced (written and verbal)
• Analytical thinking;
• Ability to work effectively in multifunctional teams;
• Detail oriented with the ability to meet deadlines;
