Monitor day-to-day operations within area of responsibility including providing accurate and timely completion of deliverables and ensuring SLA’s are met or exceeded
Understand local payroll practices, regulations, tax and reporting requirements such that employee pay can be correctly delivered
Maintain current and correct knowledge of HR policies, SOPs and business practices
Provide input to identify and implement process improvements and identify and define standards and reusable approaches for cross-functional groups
Develop process documents, job aids, communications & procedures
May train team members on new or enhanced operation procedures and policies and may provide direction or verify questions from team members
Lead or assist with the development of detailed analyses for area of responsibility and provide relevant statistics and reporting as needed
Monitor and update client systems (i.e., complex payroll transactions/data entry) ensuring high accuracy and completeness of data
Execute testing of tools, processes, or system and participate and lead some activities/projects for area of responsibility
Demonstrate strong customer service in all activities.
From first point of contact, incumbent will need to:
- Understand the core problem the client/customer is facing
- Identify action required to resolve
- Resolve the client request either by facilitating other’s efforts or completing the actions required
- Follow up with timely progress updates/resolution to the client’s satisfaction
Minimum 2 years' on-the-job experience with payroll processing and documenting processes and procedure
Oracle / HR Systems experience
French/Italian/ Spanish/ German or/ and English speaking and reading skills
Operations management experience
Ability to navigate complex organizations
Ability to analyze and interpret complex data
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and follow through to resolve any outstanding issues
Strong time management and administrative skills to handle multiple projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills; manages internal communications and external/client communications with detailed support and assistance
Experience defining, implementing, and supporting business processes
Ability to influence others on desired objectives
Ability to educate and train others on strategic concepts and sensitive topics
Strong customer experience/customer service focus
Proven ability to work well within a team and promote a healthy environment
