- developing the UI of existing, in-house developed network monitoring software
- extending functionality of project requirements gathering and resource scheduling applications
- further integrating other software applications in the business (the company and other enterprise tools such as ServiceNow)
- assisting data analysts by providing new data export methods to assist in cross-technology KPI tracking
- work with other members of the Service Management / projects team to capture requirements and establish a strategy for improvement
- working to ensure that security standards are considered and met
- supporting, resolving and managing incidents relating to Service Management-owned tools where appropriate
- maintain and improve relevant support information and documentation
Mandatory Skills:
- JavaScript
- JQuery
- HTML
- CSS
- MySQL databases
- Moderate Linux system administration skills (centos/rhel)
- Git version control
- User interface design experience
- Comfortable working with both fixed-design ‘waterfall’ methods as well as Agile
- Flexible and willing to learn new technologies
Advantageous but not required:
- PHP5 - Zend Framework 1 (rather than v2), Laravel 5
- Systems analysis experience (entity relationship and data flow analysis)
- Experience in ITIL operations within a service-provider environment
- Some exposure to network monitoring systems
- Awareness of with MS-SQL / .NET applications or willingness to learn them

We are looking for an intelligent and technical PHP/Lamp Web Application Developer, to assist the Service Management team in developing ITIL service management and network monitoring applications, and integrating them with other tool sets and data sources. Our ideal candidate will be familiar with working in a mature, process-driven, IT service provider environment.
The Service Management team is responsible for the successful development of in-house and market-leading tools used within the Managed Services department to support and manage our customers and systems. This includes the integration of software and tools, and the development of new software and tools as the need arises. The successful applicant will be an excellent team player, able to work methodically and to collaborate with teams both locally and abroad.
