Working with the Architects & Product Owner to define how the target solution will be implemented;
Production of Technical Design in conjunction with the Development team encompassing both functional and non-functional requirements including bank standards and internal best practices;
Ensuring that appropriate standards and non-functional requirements are implemented correctly;
Owning delivery output quality metrics like (code quality, code review efficiency, defect prevention process);
Working in conjunction with Project Manager to provide production support on-boarding plans and handover for new functionality;
Proven experience of managing development teams of 10+ developers in an Agile, preferably Scrum, environment
Technical design including performance and capacity planning and management
Technical ownership of a technical product or platform
8+ years hands on programming in Java including the following items: Core Java, Spring, JMS, Java EE, Javascript, EasyMock/JUnit, JSP (taglib), HTML/CSS, XML/XPath, Git, Oracle, Maven, Weblogic, REST, TeamCity, Linux (ksh/bash);
3+ years working on Unix platforms;
Understanding of Distributed architecture;
Strong understanding of middleware architecture and messaging system;
Basic understanding of financial instruments would be beneficial;
