The Game Master’s mission is to be the official voice of the MMO and to serve as the first point of contact for the community.
Responsibilities:
• Managing the Moderators
• Executing the Community Manager’s strategic planning
• Establishing an atmosphere of trust and a sense of belonging within the community
Tasks:
o Creates and adds new content to the game’s website
o Composes official posts, change logs, press releases and development diaries on the forum
o Recruits, coordinates, quality checks and motivates the Moderators
o Composes a regular report for the Community Management and Development Team based on the feedback of the Moderator Team
o Develops training methods and material in order to increase the overall efficiency of the Moderator Team in cooperation with the Instruction Team
o Creates and updates rules of conduct for the community
o Monitors the game’s performance and policy violations
o Informs the community about technical issues and downtimes
o Regularly communicates with the Community Management, the Support Team and the Development Team.
o Organizes and executes community events
o Offers in-game related advice via chat/forum and if necessary forwards the player directly to the Support Team
o Gathers feedback on bugs, features and improvements suggested by the community
o Communicates potential exploits and game breakers (blockers) / hacks / cheats to the Development Team and QA Team in order to resolve these issues
o Shares the players’ feedback with the Community Management and the Support Team to improve the development process
o Checks, understands, anticipates and reacts to the community’s mood.
o Offers relevant feedback on player profiles to the Support Team
o Handles/acts as an important back-up person for special issues handled by Support Team
o Handles the game-related content on Social Media sites
o Works with metrics to establish a certain level of service (response time, quality…)
- Gamer, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about games
- Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation abilities
- Very good command of English
- Very good command of Polish
- Strong customer service skills
- Good organization and time management skills
- Multitasking and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- Good PC knowledge - Microsoft programs including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Computer game industry experience is a plus
