Receives, examines and processes requisitions; prepares bid specifications and other necessary documents related to the purchase of materials and services;
Compares costs and evaluates the quality and sustability of materials (services);
Prepares Purchase orderes;
Reviews proposals and negotiates contracts with suppliers;
Investigates and classifies suppliers.
University degree;
At least 1 year in a similar position;
Good knowledge of purchasing methods and procedures;
Previous exposure to tender related activities would be a plus;
Good command of English language;
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel - advanced level) and previous work experience with an ERP (SAP - preferred, Oracle, etc)
Result orientted and organized person with attention to details;
Very good presentation and negotiation skills;
Ability to collect, investigate and structure data;
Ability to handle various types of activities and meet tight deadlines;
Ability to work individually and as part of the team.
