• Understand what the business and customers need and work with all the necessary shareholders and departments to bring the product/s to life
• Contribute to the long-term product/s vision
• Ability to develop a road map strategy starting from the release to the end stage and all future upgrades and/or features
• Analyze and ensure business and technical requirements are met
• Develop product/s requirements in the form of technical and functional specifications and their objectives
• Improve the process of developing, distributing, maintaining and ensuring traceability of product requirements
• Plan and schedule project deliverables, goals and milestones
• Establish and manage the Company’s product release cycle including product updates via coordination with other departments, product documentation, release notes, announcements, and product/feature launch plan activities
• Coordinate outsourced remote teams for development, infrastructure and technical support
• Create various procedures and processes required to work efficiently within the company and with 3rd parties
• Participate in customer facing events and conferences as a product expert
• Create monthly and on demand reports for management
• Manage budgets and costs on technical projects.
• 3+ years Financial services / Payments industry experience is mandatory
• Other industries experience is considered a strong plus – SAAS, ecommerce, and/or mobile
• Communicate clearly and effectively to both technical and business audiences
• Ability to synthesize and clearly articulate complex technical and functional concepts and requirements
• Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple parties to deliver a product in Agile development methodologies
• Strong organizational skills: ability to track and prioritize multiple issues and can work very independently
• Creative spark – in product innovation, product management, and finding ways to get things done
• Team player with proven track record of taking initiative and ownership of responsibilities and deliverables.
