Avira is seeking THE Product Manager who has an insatiable curiosity about technology, with a passion for enhancing peoples' day-to-day interactions with the digital realm.
Job description
You will own a line of system optimization tools and will be responsible for communicating the product vision and roadmap to Product Development.
Working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders - spanning from engineering to support via MarComm - to ensure quality and timeliness is something we need you to master. Above all, you are a fervent evangelist and won't miss a chance to promote your product internally, and externally.
What you will do:
- Develop product requirements and specs based on internal needs and external market opportunities. Explore ideas with engineers and designer. Work with Project Management on execution.
- Synthesize and drive product strategy from interactions with business stakeholders, legal, and the community teams.
- Become a guru on your market segment. Establish connections with influencers.
- Know you digits and act on relevant KPIs. Maintain health check reports.
- Monitor, identify and test new technologies and business models.
- Be a go-to person and strategic thinker within the company.
- Fall in love within the product and build incredible experience.
- Bachelor degree is a must . MSc or MBA is a plus.
- 2+ years of Digital Product Management experience. 4+ years of experience working in a multinational software/online company.
- Proven track record of parenting successful products.
- Strong commercial focus and the ability to prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Eloquent communicator - both verbal and written. Presentations are your rock'n'roll stage.
- Competent soft skills necessary to work across cross-functional team.
- Accustomed to driving results in collaborative, cross-functional environments with little instruction or oversight.
- Experience with agile development processes and monthly or weekly product release cycles.
- Strong experience in identifying and implementing UX/UI best practices.
- "Roll-up-your-sleeves" entrepreneurial, stratup attitude.
