Conducts the reporting function with the objective of meeting the requirements regarding the integrity, quality and timeless of the process;
Organizes the reporting function with a view of maximizing efficiency and quality of the process;
Active part in the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasts;
Perform variance analysis and provides explanations regarding budgets variances and trends; proposing of corrective measures;
Reviews the accounting entries to ensure accuracy of the transactions with cost centers distribution, legal framework and international accounting standards;
Responsible for the accuracy of cost center use and segment reporting;
Coordinates and ensures proper communication with the relevant departments, the Group representatives (controlling centers) and the internal and external auditors;
Significant role in coordination, implementation and maintenance of internal controls processes and procedures;
Review the month-end adjustments (accruals, provisions for payables, receivables, inventories, fixed assets);
Prepares different reports for Board meetings;
Prepares the forecasted cash flow (on monthly/quarterly/yearly basis);
Analyses the variance and evolution of performance and financial actual indicators compared to the budget/previous periods and forecast;
Provides explanations for the variations between the budget and actual performance and propose corrective measures in case of negative actual/budget deviations;
Leads cross – organization projects to effect improvement in business controls;
Identifies and implements worldwide process and tools to facilitate tracking of business controls;
Support business control review process for management;
Pro-actively identifies risks and control issues in new and on – going processes and recommends solutions.
Adecco Permanent Placement for its client, a multinational company specialized in piping and plant construction in the chemical and petrochemical industries, is looking for a Project Controller.
Candidate profile:
Bachelor degree – graduate in finance & accounting;
Knowledge expert of Romanian Accounting Practices, IFRS and taxation;
Min. 3 – 4 years in a similar position, previous working experience in a big multinational company is considered a plus;
Experience with internal process and controls;
Analysis for sales margin and abnormal cost rate of project;
Excellent command of English, including commercial and accounting terms in both speaking and writing – mandatory condition;
German knowledge – advantage;
Excellent knowledge in Ms Office, SAP experience is mandatory;
Highly developed analytical and organizational skills, structured and disciplined person.
