• Defines, develops and implements quality assurance practices and procedures, test plans and other QA assessments.
• Create and execute both manual and automated test cases
• Develops automated testing scripts and systems using Selenium, PHP and SQL.
• Plan and execute functional tests for all components of the software solutions per the project schedules
• Perform database validations using SQL editors, validate outputs and transactions for accuracy
• Participate in requirements review and acceptance criteria development
• Ensure that measurable test objectives are achieved and maintained
• Identify, document, and track all software defects to closure, including escalating issues to management for resolution if they could not be resolved within the process owners’ reporting chain
• Work with functional teams in reducing error rates, perform root cause analysis of observed errors and trends
• Facilitate continuous process improvements utilizing industry standard best practices
• Ability to test web-based applications, Single Page Applications (SPAs) and Javascript Rich Internet Applications
• Solid understanding and a demonstrated ability to write SQL queries/DML scripts
• Strong abilities in creating test plans, test cases and release note documentation
• Experience with one or more automation test tools, including a demonstrated ability to create and execute QA automation scripts in a modern programming language such as PHP, Ruby, Java or C#
• Experience with some/all of the following: Selenium, PhantomJS, BDD, Windows/Linux, SVN, PHP, JIRA, Git
• Experience with Codeception or other test automation tools
• Demonstrated ability to manage several projects while meeting deadlines
• Strong ability to pay attention to detail and accuracy
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• Agile/Scrum experience
• Certified Software Quality Professional
• Load testing experience
