As a member of Avira’s Protection QA team you will significantly contribute to improve the quality of Avira’s detection technologies in constant interaction with an international team located in Germany and Romania. You will analyze files and separate malicious from good ones. Independently you will find the best solutions to cope with an always growing amount of data in order to keep Avira’s QA systems up to date.
You will analyze files, decide if they are good or bad and adapt our detection technologies either to improve or to change the detection in order to make it more reliable. Our goal is to have the best and most reliable detection for anything harmful which might appear on our customer’s computer!
You will keep track of important software which gets updated on a daily basis of various vendors like Microsoft, Adobe, etc. You will download, analyze and prepare this software with different semi-automatic processes in order to keep our test set always up to date.
You will research for possibilities how to automate the processes of gathering software how to install / unpack fully automatically without any human interaction.
