Manage a mid-sized team responsible for Quality Assurance of Ixia¿s applications. Identify priorities for the group and ensure execution of the project plans for a release. Makes sure that the QA processes are correctly implemented, tracks on daily basis team¿s activity according to the approved planning and makes sure that the team is following test schedules. Monitors, schedules and manages the allocated resources to meet commitments. Identifies risks and opportunities within the team and escalates immediately to QA Managers when the project schedule is impacted.
¿ Minimum 3 years experience in managing QA projects
¿ Clear understanding and industry experience of networking standards
¿ Additional understanding of Layer2/3 implementation structures, Layer 4/7 or Voip protocols is required
¿ Ability to install, configure & debug networking devices.
¿ Experience in traffic generating and protocol decoding test tools is a plus.
¿ Strong QA Skills on planning, bug isolation, bug report writing, troubleshooting.
¿ Solid leadership qualities with proven track record for delivering on time in a fast pace environment
¿ Should be able execute multiple tasks with commitment to quality
¿ Highly organized and possessing a keen analytical and structured approach to problem solving and testing.
¿ Solid knowledge of software development and QA lifecycle.
¿ CCNA/CCNP certification is preferred but not a requirement
¿ Very strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
¿ BS/MS in Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
