Job description
As a QA Manager in ADSWIZZ, you will:
- Contribute to the QA effort during the full life cycle of the software product
- Actively contribute to allocation resource in the projects QA process
- Guarantee a high level of quality for product deliveries
- Conduct regular performance appraisals for team members
- Motivate the team, act as a mentor
- Work with Development Managers and development teams to ensure the success of the project
- Handle multiple tasks, meet established targets and work within critical milestones
- Review and comment on product specifications and designs
- Review test plans and test cases, including automated tests
- Assist team members if neccesary on conducting tests and preparing understandable reports and detailed defects description
Requirements
- Studies in Computers Science, Mathematics, Business IT, or related discipline
- Experience in software testing (min. 5 years)
- Experience in a leadership position (min. 2 years)
- Familiarity with testing tools, automated testing tools, and bug tracking/reporting systems
- Good problem identification skills
- Ability to work with developers and QA team members to produce and execute test cases for data testing
- A good understanding of programming paradigms and scripting languages
- An understanding of relational databases concepts and structures
- Knowledge of the most used protocols: SMTP, HTTP, FTP, SMB, IMAP, POP3
- Ability to quickly adapt to new technical concepts
- Good command of the English language, both orally and written. French is a plus.
The following will be highly valued and appreciated:
- project management experience, and familiar with project management discipline
- experience with steaming servers (Shoutcast, icecast, wowza, fms,...)
- knowledge of ad serving & analytics technologies: DoubleClick DFP, DFA, Google Analytics...
