We're currently looking for a great talented Quality Assurance Engineer who should join our team.
Primary responsibilities:
• Design and executive test plans for all built in-house apps (web, desktop plus mobile).
• Record and document results and compare to expected results.
• Detect software failures so that defects may be discovered and corrected.
• Generate historical analysis of test results.
• Maintain database of software defects.
• Examine code and execution of code in various environments.
• Develop and document application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with general programming best practices, accepted web standards and those standards set forth by upstream sources.
• Perform application security audits.
• Implement application designs, create queries, scripts, web pages and other deliverables.
• Ensure data integrity standards.
• Determining and agreeing in-house quality procedures, standards and/or specifications.
• Produce clear and accurate bug reports, test reports and test plans
• Work independently as well as part of a team
• Provide feedback on development processes and contribute to improvement of these processes
• Experience of system testing of client and server applications.
• Hands on experience with JUnit, Selenium, Maveryx, scripting
• Be an expert in Test Automation.
• 3+ years of relevant QA technical experience.
• 3+ years large enterprise or e-business systems experience.
• Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications.
• Dynamic, proactive, and with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Analyze, design, author and execute new or modified tests to high quality
• Problem solver skills
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
• To ensure that the products and services the company provides are of the highest possible quality in terms of build, performance, customer expectations and statutory requirements.
• To monitor and advise on the performance of the quality management system and produces data and report on performance, measuring against set indicators.
• Setting QA compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved;
Highly Desirable:
• Experience of server side technologies: Java, RDBMS, SQL
• See things from a customers point of view and understand the business impact of bugs and features
• Demonstrate an understanding of different software test processes and methodologies
