We are seeking a professional for the Quality Assurance Manager position within an international project team.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the Quality Assurance team within the Engineering Center
• Planning and execution of quality assurance measures in software projects
• Monitoring the compliance of processes and of the required work product quality
• Monitoring of software quality (e.g. with metrics)
• Provision of status reports, quality assurance plans and quality management reports
• Execution of root cause analysis, participation in the execution of FMEA, RCA, lessons learned
• Drive process-oriented improvement measures
• Drive the sustainable deployment of company processes within our Bucharest departments
• Training of new employees in the company processes
• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Cybernetics or respectively similar software development-related studies. Transportation, Telecommunications, Mathematics, Physics
• Experience in quality management or project management for Software
• Experience in software design with respect to structure, compliance with coding rules for C, C++, Java (e.g. with QAC/QAC++)
• Experience in software complexity and Unit-/Component Test (code coverage Statement; Branch; MC/DC)
• Experience in software configuration management, integration and provisioning for the customer
• Strong process orientation and experience in the application of standards (ISO 9001, CENELEC 50126 / 50128 / 50129)
• Fluency in English is mandatory
Would be a plus:
• Experience in railway signalling
• Implementation of the standards CENELEC 50126 / 50128 / 50129
• Proven training or coaching experience
• People management experience
• German language skills
