• Ensures the quality management within the Supply Chain
• Audit the distributors of the company`s products as regards hygienic and sanitary standards
• Inspects stores as regards refrigeration conditions required for the products
• Provides technical support and expertise in quality related problem solving, risk analysis and crisis management
• Trains & animates logistics people on Quality KPIs
• Monitors the quality of products available in trade
• Identifies problems and initiates corrective actions in case of defects
• Ensures that the co-manufactured finished products are compliant with the value promises to the customer and company`s Quality requirements (Food Safety, Specifications, etc)
• Contributes to Co manufacturers selection and evaluation with “veto” authority
• Steers Co-manufactured products Food Safety & Quality continuous improvement programs (Co manufacturers audits, relevant quality KPI’s)
• Validates the effectiveness of the traceability system.
• Participates to the monitoring of the actual functioning of HACCP in the cool chain
• Taking actions in relation with the Integrated Management System within the scope of responsibilities as defined in valid documents;
• University degree with food technology, biotechnology, agriculture or chemistry - preferably specialized in dairy science
• Minimum 1 year work experience with a food industry enterprise in quality assurance department
