Tracks and captures news and financial information, performs analyses of market conditions and forecasts under the direction of a senior Marketing Research Analysts.
1. Driving operational excellence
Tracks global retailers for news, operational and financial data;
Updates database with most recent findings and figures;
Tracks a designated portfolio of retailers in the press and summarizes findings in short articles;
Collects and analyzes performance and financial data;
Applies standardized financial forecast models for key retailers;
Performs occasional on-field visits to retail stores and summarizes key observations in comprehensive reports;
Develops detailed knowledge on key retail markets, channels, and retailers;
Develops presentations and showcases findings;
Performs Quality Control processes in accordance with set guidelines.
2. Quality Assurance
Ensures process KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) are met for his/her area of competency;
Communicates any service delivery issues, deviations or potential delays in achieving KPIs to the manager;
Adheres and follows the Standard Operating Procedures specified for the process;
Functions as per QMS procedures;
Ensures quality targets laid out are met for the processes owned;
Identifies areas for improvement in processes & informs the management to obtain approval to implement change.
- Excellent command of French and English both spoken and written
- Finance Graduate. Knowledge and/or exposure to international finance regulations
- Proficient with MSO, mainly Excel. MSO Access is a plus
- Accurate and detail oriented. Understands and handles numeric data with ease
- Is able to identify and communicate data and insights that are relevant to clients
- Self starter
- High problem-solving skills, thrives under pressure
- Creative, imaginative and out-of-the-box thinking.
