• Responsible for growing sales / profits from defined target group in local geography (direct or indirect);
• Grow sales by converting leads generated from marketing campaigns, re-activating lapsed customers and improving data quality for marketing actions (E-Mail, Pay Per Click, Product pushes, Webstore);
• Field sales activity and telephone sales actions;
• Personal involvement in accounts with sizeable opportunities;
• Sales Engineer is a reporting and communication link for Market;
• Systematic contact with lapsed customers;
• Targeted, product related visits to increase breadth of purchase;
• Increase customer database and successfully closing small projects;
• Rapid, professional customer contact of customers who have responded positively to marketing actions by asking for information or support;
• Systematic contact / visit of lapsed customers;
• Customer data management, take ownership of customer data quality in the market ensuring that data held in CRM systems is up to date, accurate and fit for purpose;
• Close liaison with marketing functions to maximize effectiveness of lead generation and lead follow up;
• Close liaison with Sales Manager to ensure high value leads are appropriately followed up and any issues of channel conflict are effectively resolved.
• Technician, engineer (engineering, electronic, fine mechanics) or similar qualification;
• Proven success in sales – ideally in area of components and systems of engineering or plant engineering;
• Business thinking and customer oriented;
• Highly creative at development and realization of concepts;
• Distinctive ability to use resources efficiently;
• Knowledge of commercial and contractual subjects as well as negotiation skills;
• Knowledge, experience and coordination of small NEX projects;
• Excellent communication skills, assertive behavior, team player;
• Fluent in English, flexibility and personal confidence;
• A positive can do / will do attitude and ability to work under pressure;
• High level of drive for sales success.
