Monitor servers and applications performance and availability and respond accordingly through service requests
Event Management (analyze alerts and logs)
Provide metrics for capacity management purposes
Batch execution
Create and update reports
Assists in the development of new environmental monitoring procedures, protocols
Maintenance of the monitoring tool environment
Implement & Adjust components/checks into the monitoring tool
Create and adjust service trees
Create and adjust service views
Scripting of E2E-monitoring
Create Documentation
Availability to work in shifts (service is 24x7)
Advanced in German and English
Experience with implementation of scripts for component monitoring, batch monitoring and application monitoring
Advanced MS Windows OS Client/Server admin
Basic VMware vSphere knowledge
Basic network admin knowledge
MS-SQL experience
Nice to have:
Knowledge of monitoring systems like Nagios, MS SCOM
Knowledge of concepts: E2E monitoring for applications
