Establishes the High Level Design and Low Level Design and architecture for IP Services & Security Data Networks in order to plan an efficient and secure Data Network;
Participates at integration and testing of security elements and services for the data network and performs the acceptance with the vendors in order to assure a proper network functionality;
Builds VPN connections for Cosmote customers at Direct Sales department demand in order to meet customer requirements;
Designs and implements from Data Network point of view new services as driven by Marketing Department and Services Department in order to enhance Cosmote services offerings;
Proposes new solutions for improving the quality of services and security or for process optimization in order to improve network performance and resource consumption;
Offers support to other team members from other Offices or Departments for integrating new services;
Participates at data network optimization to maximize the use of existing resources;
Follows and performs the operational plan according to his activity in order to meet the goals set by Department Management;
Assures support for Operations & Maintenance Division in order to implement the proposed network changes;
Cooperates with the other departments of division in order to perform the projects that involve data network;
Responsible for network functionality according to KPI parameters in order to maintain network health;
University Degree (Electronics & Telecommunications Faculty or Automatics Faculty preferably);
Medium knowledge of DNS, HTTP, SMTP and other application level protocols;
Advanced knowledge of English language;
Various industry certifications - Associate level – would be an advantage;
Driving license – B Category;
2-4 years’ experience in telecom industry or in a similar position;
Medium knowledge of routing protocols (IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, IS-IS);
Medium knowledge of IP Virtual Private Networks (IPSEC VPNs, MPLS-VPNs and other types of VPN’s);
Medium knowledge of IP/MPLS technology (MPLS VPNs, MPLS TE, L2 VPN, IPv6 over MPLS, MVPN etc.);
Medium knowledge of Securing IP networks;
Medium knowledge of IPv6;
Medium knowledge of IP Multicast;
Medium knowledge of IP Management (Cisco Works, HP Open View, MRTG, PRTG and SNMP or similar);
Medium knowledge of GPRS technology.
