• Preparation for all financial and accounting reports of the company's operations in Romania
• Preparation of statutory tax declarations VAT, proper and timely tax recognition and documentation of transactions, reporting to national statistics bureau, interacting with local tax authorities
• Run all accounting processes within the company
• Monitor monthly operating results
• Ensure tight control of financial and operating aspects
• Cooperate with the Finance Manager to ensure decision support within finance aspects
• Liaise with other third-parties (social security authorities, tax authorities, vendors, clients)
• Work closely with auditors for year-end audits
• At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting and financial controlling
• Strong knowledge of Romanian Legislation and taxation
• Strong knowledge of Romanian Accounting Standards, experience in local accounting
• Strong analytical and critical reasoning skills
• Working knowledge of ERP systems, SAP is an advantage, but not a must
• Experience in FMCG business is a plus
• Experience in multinational company is a plus
• Very good knowledge of Excel
• Ability to work under pressure and keep short deadlines
• Ability to work across various functional areas and to interact with individuals across all levels throughout the organization
• Fluent written and oral communication skills in English
• Professional qualifications: CECCAR is an advantage
