Performs bookkeeping records (general accounting)
Verifies the accuracy of various accounting entries and cross check calculations (customer discounts, royalties)
Complete account reconciliations and analysis of critical Balance Sheet accounts
Effective implication in monthly accounting closure: performs control/reconciliation for all taxes due by the company and operates all necessary corrections until month end
Ensures timely computation of tax on profit and VAT adjustments
Verifies documentation and prepares sales and purchase journals for Group companies registered in Romania for VAT purposes
Participates in the preparation of tax declarations and Intrastat for Group companies registered in Romania for VAT purposes
Produces the reports required by statistical authorities and NBR
Provides support for the yearly external financial audit
Provides support for the preparation/revision of the internal accounting procedures and regulations
Assists in internal Group reporting process
Provides support for Group and domestic projects (including transfer pricing file preparation)

The ideal candidates will have:
BA in economic studies
Experience with SAP Accounting Software
Minimum 5 years in Accounting and Tax
Fluent English
Excellent Excel & Word skills
Analytical thinking, proactive attitude, correctness, commitment to deadlines, team spirit (inter-departmental cooperation), adaptability
