- Ensure that the clients' accounting records are maintained completely
and timely while using the appropriate functionalities of the systems;
- Review of standard/regular correspondence with client;
- Client liaison;
- Liaising with state authorities;
- Provide on the job training, assistance, review and coordination of
the activity of accountants and junior accountants for which he/she is
responsible;
- Prepare accounts in accordance with Romanian Accounting
Standards, IAS;
- Act as overall co-ordinator on all finance matters for allocated clients;
- Work independently in all financial matters related to allocated
clients, co-operate with others according to the needs of the
accounting department;
- Ensure that the reporting deadlines are met;
- Ensure the proper management of cash and bank accounts;
- Ensure the proper management of payables and receivables;
- Complete other tasks requested by the Financial Manager / CFO;
- Represent the Client for VAT Reimbursement Controls and Audit
Controls;
- Keep abreast with changes in tax, RAS and IAS legislation (including
VAT, CIT, WHT, Intrastate, Custom Duties etc.).
Key Requirements:
- Business graduate, qualified accountant, with more than 4 years’
experience in local and international accounting;
- Excellent computer knowledge (especially EXCEL) plus ability to work
with special accounting software (SUN, SAP, ORACLE);
- Fluent both spoken and written English. Clear and concise
communication;
- Organized and pro-active attitude.
- Comfortable having work reviewed and receiving constructive
feedback.
