- Taking responsibility for the day-to-day Finance and Accounting operations;
- Preparing and making bookings into the software systems per cost center and verifying the accounting data in accordance to the legal requirements and internal procedures;
- Month-end reconciliations and preparation of monthly financial statements;
- Preparation of the weekly and monthly cash flow planning and processing of payments;
- Collaborating and working closely with various departments within our company in the UK, The Netherlands, for reporting and consolidation.
- University degree in Mathematics, Econometrics, Finance or equivalent;
- Minimum of 5 years working experience;
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting, knowledge of IFRS is an advantage;
- Good knowledge of VAT (in international transportation);
- Fluent in spoken and written English;
