You will be part of a dynamic team and responsible for solving critical issues with integrated tools (debuggers, compilers, etc.) . The issues that you will solve were already analyzed by the teams handling 1st and 2nd level of customer support.
- You will be responsible for the direct contact with the Level 1 and 2 support teams, and also in direct contact with development and marketing divisions.
- You will work with task related to problem reports and feature request on a very big range of Freescale HW and SW setups – all based on the Freescale CodeWarrior Eclipse Based IDE. In this range we are talking about a full scale of setups – from low level items (HW boards setups, OS Bootloaders for wither Linux or Freescale proprietary OS and RTOSes, BSPs and even bare metal applications), going through platform SW level (KRN, Schedulers, Stacks (TCP/IP, IPC, etc)) – up to application level (signal processing demoes, telecom demos (ex. LTE L1,L2), networking performance apps (Ipsec etc).
- act on request from both internal and external customers – and resolve problems (this can also mean developing a new demo, BSP etc) – on all levels – from low level ASM code and drivers, through OS (SMP / AMP) / KRN and multi-process complex system configuration – and up to complex application updates/changes/configuration (LTE, VOIP etc)
- isolating the issues had by the client with the internal tool used by the client to develop/investigate its applications;
- you will organize trainings, presentations and demos regarding Freescale tools for the clients;
- you may develop applications used to demonstrate certain functions for an architecture (about 10% of the time).
- 2+ years of experience in embedded systems projects;
- 1+ years of software development experience with C/C++;
- development/low level automation experience of at least 2 years;
- advanced communication skills;
- advanced presentation skills;
- proactive;
- customer oriented person;
Would be a plus:
- experience with embedded devices and IDEs (CodeWarrior, CodeComposer, FusionIDE)
- knowledge of multicore technology SMP/AMP, physical space/virtual/cache, communication protocols,
- knowledge in the following: DSP Architecture; Embedded Hardware (microcontrollers, I2C, sensors)
- networking experience ;
