POSITION SUMMARY
Senior Financial Controller reports to the Financial Controlling Manager and has responsibilities related to financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee monthly revenues and cost recognitions related to ITC projects; work closely with Project managers and Contract managers aiming of reaching an appropriate understanding of the projects
• Monitor ITC projects financial performance, perform comparison of actual results against budget, identify and report deviations
• Perform month-end closing and reporting procedure
• Prepare monthly Sales Forecast update collecting input from various parts of the organization
• Prepare accurate monthly financial management reports and on request financial analysis
• Participate to preparation of Business Plan, budgets and forecasts, monitor actual performance
• Contribute to preparation of monthly financial reporting pack
• Develop a strong and supportive relationship between Controlling department and other departments of the company
• Participate in the development and implementation of process improvements initiatives
• Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting procedures and reporting deadlines
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• University degree in economic field
• Similar experience in controlling/reporting and budgeting (at least 3 years)
• Knowledge of IFRS or Romanian Accounting Standards
• Ability to understand and analyze financial data
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Planning and time management abilities
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Very good English
• Proficiency in the use of ERP systems, MS Office (Excel – advanced level)
