Elaborates/completes/changes the accounting monographs according to IFRS and National Bank of Romania laws and regulations requirements;
Analyzes specific transactions in order to determine the accounting treatment applied in accordance to the provisions of the applicable IFRS;
Ensures amendment/update of the internal accounts chart according to operational necessities in a format and content as appropiate to the information needs (opening / closing / amending accounts);
Ensures the implementation in the bank systems of accounting requirements for new banking products;
Follows the complete compliance with the accounting monograph, of the automatic / manual operating transactions in the systems;
Required background:
Academic background: Economic University Degree;
Minimum 3 years experience in banking system or audit company (Big 4);
Minimum 2 years experience in analyzing and applying the provisions of the International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”);
Required competences:
Very good knowledge of accounting practice in banking system;
Very good knowledge of IFRS and National Bank of Romania accounting laws and regulations;
Very good English knowledge (both written and spoken);
MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Power Point);
Efficient, self-confident person, proactive attitude;
Ability to work well under pressure and deliver results;
Constructive thinker, communicative, reliable with a high sense of responsibility and integrity;
Team player, able to cooperate with colleagues and establish functional and social contacts.
