• Provisioning, installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of systems hardware, software and related infrastructure;
• Ensures that system hardware, operating system, software systems, and related procedure adhere to bank strategy.
• Will assist project team with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases of our standard Project Management Methodology. This individual is accountable for the following systems: AS400 that support the bank infrastructure and MIMIX.
• Performs daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
• Provides 2nd level IT support;
• Applies OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
• Performs periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning;
• Works with external IT integrators in dealing with new projects, as well as incident management tasks;
• Performs ongoing performance tuning, hardware (server, storage, backup equipment) upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
• University Degree in Computer Science or similar
• 5 years’ experience in the field of IT Network and Communication
• Proven experience in large scale IT infrastructure projects covering servers’ deployment (hardware and software experience).
• Proven experience in dealing with AS400
o Installation and configuration
o Automated backups
o Security administration – Profiles
• Using HMC to manage Multi-LPAR system
• Disaster Recovery – MIMIX configuration and support
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving operating systems integrity issues, performance issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc.
• Infor XA – experience
• Change Management – Move code to production
o Looking for responsible person to manage this control point and understand the importance
• CUM and PTF application fixes
• CL programming experience is a plus
• Good IT architecture design skills in the area of AS400
• Good experience in working with Enterprise hardware solutions, Storage Area Network Solutions
• Data center management and administration capabilities
• Strong analytical skills, experience solving practical issues
• Fluent in English (speaking & writing)
