SENIOR TECHNICAL ARCHITECT
You will be responsible for:
Work closely with Product Management, Program Management and senior development staff to help define and implement the Summit technology roadmap;
Lead development teams in the appropriate selection and use of technical frameworks, platforms and design patterns;
Manage projects in the Summit architecture area from the requirements and specification phase through implementation and quality assurance;
Lead or participate in design, development and testing of applications in the Summit framework. This includes writing of technical specifications and may involve hands-on development in C++, C# and/or Java;
Participate in problem solving and maintenance of existing applications;
Provide advice and support to project team members, business centers and other application teams in areas of expertise;
Responsible for the timely completion and delivery of projects.
The candidate should meet the following criteria:
Experience in managing technical projects
Strong analysis, design and problem solving skills
In depth knowledge of one or more of C++, C#
Solid knowledge of Windows platforms, .NET Framework and associated applications and utilities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Knowledge and experience with SOA technologies and platforms
Broad knowledge of technology standards, information management, development standards, methods and emerging 3rd party software relevant to the financial industry
Experience with several of the following technologies:
Knowledge of one or more relational databases (Sybase, SQLServer or Oracle)
C++ development on UNIX especially Solaris
Microsoft Windows Forms/Windows API
BS or MS in Computer Science
3+ years of technical architecture experience
7+ years software design and development experience
