Adecco Permanent Placement is looking for its Client, a prestigious engineering company, for a Service Planner, based in Bucharest.
• To take responsibility for planning the day to day work schedules of FSE service team, ensuring that all planned service requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner.
• To provide first line for technical support for both customers and FSE, including first point warranty analysis and reporting.
• To actively seek opportunities to increase the efficiency of our service operations whilst maximising Customer Care.
• To administer the forward planning of all open orders, ensuring that the department service requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner.
• To support the BLM and to set the FSE work schedules in order to maximise efficiency and minimise WIP.
• To ensure the orders are correctly allocated and released to the engineer before the visit date.
• Ensure all parts are available, delivered direct to customer sites prior to the engineers visit date, and that all returns are correctly reported and returned.
• To liaise with customers by phone or e-mail to arrange and confirm the service visits, and ensure they are fully aware of the work and the date the work is to be carried out.
• To monitor and record the progress of all customer orders to ensure work is fully completed, and any additional work is planned and completed in a timely fashion.
• To maintain all orders and the planning board, to ensure all work is correctly allocated, so that quality reports can be gathered via reporting facilities.
• To regularly liaise with the Field Service Engineers, internal departments and other Service Centres to expedite customer requests.
• To ensure the provision of “on-call” support as and when required in conjunction with the department’s plans.
• To regularly liaise with the BLM in order to highlight and resolve any operational / planning problems in an effective and efficient manner.
• To collate information from the Field Service Engineers in order to accurately record and maintain customer records and information.
• To support timely and accurate warranty reporting through technical reporting at the point of failure.
• To support the Service department with the provisional of technical and operational reports and recommendations, in order to help develop and improve our products and services.
• To work closely with the Equipment Sales and Service Sales Engineers to ensure that all opportunities / quotations are correctly processed to ensure the team maximise the potential development and growth of the company.
• To undertake ad-hoc project work as and when required.
• 5 years working experience, with at least 3 years in a coordination role.
• Degree in engineering or engineering apprenticeship
• Oral and written English is an advantage.
• Experience of working within a mechanical / electrical environment
• Good analytical and organisation skills
• very good knowledge of MS 2000 or later.
Desirable requirements:
• Proven experience of working in customer technical service environment.
• Knowledge of compressed air industry.
