You will be responsible for the railway station test-topoligies. Your tasks will include:
- the design and adaptation of railway topolies
- the deployment of these topologies on our railway interlocking system
- performing integration and initial integration tests
- regular progress reporting
The tasks will be performed in close co-operation with our experts from Thales Rail Signalling Solutions Austria (Vienna)
Requested technical competence:
- required technical knowledge:
- railway operation basics
- good analytical skills - be able to understand and work with complex systems
- UNIX / LINUX command line operation
- basic knowledge with at least one programming language
Knowledge of the following is a plus:
- shell scripts for UNIX or LINUX
- editing tools such as EMACS
- configuration management tools (e.g. ClearCase, CVS, SVN)
- defect and change management (e.g. ClearQuest)
- rail signalling
- design of rail interlocking topologies
- testing
Languages:
- english ( very good level - reading and writing)
- german ( good level - speaking and writing)
