Successful candidate will manage and motivate a high-caliber testing team in a collaborative culture that encourages excellence and rewards results, and will work closely with the development team, product management, customer services and business development to ensure product success and to meet the company's growth and profit targets.
- 5-10 years of software quality engineering and/or quality assurance experience, and a minimum of 3-5 years experience as QA manager on a number of software products;
- Experience with instituting QA processes in a relatively new company and/or new project;
- Must be able to manage multiple products in parallel;
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities in English and proven leadership/mentoring skills;
- Familiar with full product lifecycle, especially as it relates to commercially available software products;
- Ability to be a hands-on manager, directly involved in actual product quality assurance and product testing;
- Experience with products that employ a central server and distributed agents;
- Experience testing with Data Integration, Data Warehousing and ETL processes;
- Experience testing web-based product interfaces;
- Experience with automated test system integration;
- Experience participating in the product requirements and high level design process, helping the engineering team build a testable product;
- Education: B.S. degree in Engineering, Science or Technology field, preferably software or computer science.
