# Work with developers to write use cases and specifications for new features
# Develop and execute test plans and test cases for complex technically challenging features
# Proactively identify and communicate risks based on technical knowledge and experience
# Interact with other engineers to ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards;
# Independently create and own methods to verify and approve newly developed or modified component and systems;
# Participate in product requirements and development sessions using testing approaches and best practices to contribute to design decisions and to ensure seamless integration of new features with current system functionality;
# Investigate and recommend ways to improve product functionality, usability, reliability, performance and security
* University degree (BS/MS) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
* Relevant experience as a Software Test and Quality Control/Assurance Engineer
* Ability to proactively identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions
* Highly proficient at finding and reporting software defects Familiar with client-server architectures or web technologies
* Proficiency writing and executing test plans and test cases that support web-based, client-facing applications;
* Specific QA/QC expertise and experience with load and performance testing required
* Basic experience in computer programming and scripting required
* Nice to have
* Knowledge and experience in writing and executing automated test procedures
* Scripting languages or coding for web apps such as JavaScript, HTML, PHP, ActionScript, etc
* Knowledge of SQL and database applications.
