Testing of safety-critical software solutions for interlocking systems used in the railway field.
You will be part of the test team as an expert on our Human Machine Interface. You’ll work with experienced testers and engineers focusing on delivery of a high quality safety critical product.
Job summary:
Test of complex and safety-critical application software for the railway field, including:
Specification of Test Cases on Requirements basis;
Execution of manual and automated tests;
Automation of Test Cases;
Support of test environments, tools and simulation
Evaluation of the test output (coverage, traceability, progress);
Test documentation;
Regular test reporting.
The tests will be performed in close co-operation with experts from Thales Germany.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a professional environment while also collaborating closely with experts in Germany. You will gain experience in full project life cycle and understand the importance in accuracy of testing for safety critical systems.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent science (Automatics, Transportation, Electronics, Cibernetics).
Requested technical competences:
Knowledge of computer networks fundamentals
Testing of complex software systems under usage of technical means like simulators and scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Perl or others);
Would be a plus:
Programming (Java, C) experience
Knowledge of ClearQuest, DOORS, Version Control Software
Personal competencies
Solution oriented, team-working
Intercultural communication, including the empathy to work in an international team
Flexibility and availability to travel abroad from time to time
Languages:
Fluency in English
